Radical Christian Love

09/30/202009/29/2020
In the post-modern world, we hear a lot about love, equality, justice, and tolerance. We all want to do what is right, but I think we often end up getting…

Who Is My Neighbor?

09/23/202009/23/2020
We all seem to love -- even though, at times, get bored of hearing -- the parable of the Good Samaritan told by the Lord Jesus Christ. (cf. Luke 10:25-37)…

Caring for One Another

One of the series on HBO that was intriguing and thought-provoking for me was Chernobyl. Perhaps being a child of the '80s and having lived under the Communist regime, the…

To be Disciples

09/09/202009/08/2020
The Gospels and New Testament writings talk much about the call of discipleship and our personal response to God's call. Furthermore, the Epistles from the Apostles to their communities touched…

When I was young, I thought to myself that my parish priest had the best and easiest life ever! I thought he only has to worry about Mass then go…

Finished and passed the motorcycle safety and training course… the Kawasaki is nice and smooth to ride (practice), but I don’t think I’m riding any real motorcycle any time soon. I’m just learning to be prepared; and, if needed, put into practice. Perhaps a Vespa or moped for oversea usage if the occasion arises… ✌️🛵🤞
Guatemala is on my mind (and in my homily) this Sunday… I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and minister (in mission) to the indigenous people of Guatemala when I was a parish priest. My heart now has a special place for this corner of the world. #primerodios #godfirst
Two chaplains and two religious affairs airmen got together and attended the motorcycle safety and training course. The riding part is much better than the lectures, for sure! ✌️🇺🇸✌️
I baptized two children today... One was calm in the beginning but pulled out the sass at the end, and one was so calm and gentle. Either way, the Church rejoices with them and their family! 🙏😬😅😂✌️
