I Thirst (John 19:28) with Father Khoi

Just as He thirsts for us on the Cross, our heart longs for Him daily.

A parishioner from a local parish heard my homily several weeks ago about the Good Shepherd and His hard-headed flock. She went a got me a “Catholic lamb” as a consolation gift. 🤔🐑😅 I never know what people picked up from my homilies… I hope they are helpful in some ways though. 😬🙄😂
I needed to drive away a little bit to pray and ground myself again in the faithfulness, mercy, and love of God in the midst of many hard and painful situations. One good thing about the California Central Coast is that a beach is not far away to simply sit and pray. The ocean is calling and the salt air is healing… God, you are good and in control! We trust in You.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, teach us how to be meek and humble like You instead of turning to pride and follies of this world. Form our hearts and make them like Your own Heart.
It was a gloomy Memorial Day but the flowers of the field still remind us of how precious and beautiful life really is! A blessing to you and yours.
